The end of the weekend

Well, it feels odd to say I will be going back to work tomorrow since I said that 2 Sunday's in the past 4 months. We had a great weekend. I was off half a day Friday, one because I had planned to do that before I went back to work and then two I ended up having allergies super bad. So all in all I was glad to stay home and rest since we had a big wedding to attend this weekend. One of our best couple friends got married last night. We were honored to be a part of their special day. Tim and Leigh are now officially married! Ryan was the best man and the wedding was beautiful! But, to start the weekend Ryan's mom, D., came up Thursday night to stay for the week. We decided to let Payne sleep in his crib for the first time. He did really good and I was able to get some much needed sleep! Then Friday night we went to the rehearsal and D. took Payne to the condo and he spent his first night away from us! EEK! I really missed him! Though he did really good!

Then Saturday morning we had a "Countergate" at our house since Aunt Ali, Uncle Bax, and Big R had come up for the wedding as well.  It was great to stay home and watch a football game and tailgate with Payne. We barely pulled it off, but it was another victory for the HOGS!

After the game was over we headed out to the wedding. I'll share all those details tomorrow.

Sunday morning Ryan and I had decided to just go to our Sunday morning core training for the new campus and skip "big church" since the weekend was so long. Payne slept in his crib from 10:30-2:15 when he started squealing. Ryan went to get him and when I was warming up the bottle he fell asleep again in our bed so we all went back to sleep. Payne slept until 5!!! It was a great night! I think we are going in the right direction, but I am sure we will have many more long nights ahead of us. Though we were grateful for one night! After church we just laid around the house and Ryan worked in the yard.

Hope you all had a great weekend as well!
