Babies, Babies, Babies!

My two best friends are having babies! They are both due in October, two weeks apart! It will be a busy fall for us! We have been to gender reveal parties for both and we are excited for each of them! Baby shower planning is in full swing!! 

The Fite's gender reveal was at their house.

 It's a girl! (Who is still nameless) I have a name I call her, but I will wait to say until they offically decide.

Then last weekend we went with the Fite's to Branson for the weekend and then headed over to Mt. Vernon to the Owen's gender reveal! 

 It's a boy!! Palmer!!!

We love both of you and can't wait for the babies to get here!!!

21 Months

Weight 28 pounds 

You love to tell mommy and daddy to "seet" when you want us to play with you 

Wear size 4 diaper 

You love to sing, read, and pray before bed 

Size 5-6 shoe 

You still love watching ELMO

 I think you think that the iPad is called Elmo

 Size 18-2t clothes 

We have gone to wearing flip flops at school because you can't keep your shoes on

 You had hand, foot, and mouth as well as the stomach virus this month 

We have been trying to sit on the potty at night. Sometimes you go, but not often.

 You love to play outside, walk to the mailbox, and bring in the trash can.

 You throw most everything instead of handing it to someone or putting it down. 

You love to ask "what's this"

You have started talking a lot more, but are still pretty shy around new people

You love to help in the kitchen. You always tell me "I heep"! 

Mother's Day

We had a pretty laid back Mother's Day. Ryan's parents had come up Friday night and keep Payne on Saturday so that Ryan and I could run some errands and go to a graduation party for a friend. On Sunday, we went to church and then came home to relax. That afternoon I left the boys at home and went to get a manicure and pedicure.

 Payne was sick on Friday so Ryan stayed home with him. They brought me a Sonic coke to school and a gift card! Then when I got home they had bought me these beautiful tulips!!

I am very blessed to have such a wonderful little boy in my life, no matter how crazy he may be!

Playing Outside

20 Months

You are wear 18-24 or 2T clothes. 

 You are starting to get back in a better routine for napping.

 You have done much better this past month about eating.

You will not sleep if people are spending the night at our house.

You hear music and you dance!

You love Elmo! We have acquired lots of Elmo things.

You love playing outside. We got you a play set for outside for your birthday a few months early.
You weigh about 27 pounds.
  You wear a size 6 shoe.

 You have 12 teeth and 4 coming in. You chew on your teether or a toothbrush. 

You repeat things we ask you to.

You talk to yourself a lot.

Your very social!

You love to sing and pray before bed.

You still sleep with doggy and a really soft blanket.

We love you so much!

19 Months

You are wear 18-24 or 2T clothes. 

 You are not a very good napper any more! About a hour/ hour and half is it.
You are still a picky eater most days. Still love applesauce and yogurt!

You hear music and you dance!

You never want to sit still unless mommy holds you. 

You have started to love Elmo! 

You have started playing outside a lot.
You weigh about 26 pounds.
  You wear a size 5 shoe.

 You have 12 teeth and 4 coming in. You chew on your teether or a toothbrush. 

You repeat things we ask you to. 

 

Mommy and Daddy like when you spell your name.

You can point to all your body parts.

You are starting to become more social! You wave hi to everyone that comes over. 

You still sleep with your doggy!

You spent the weekend with D. and Big R over Spring Break.

Abby's Baby Showers

I went to Little Rock last weekend to attend and host baby showers for Abby and Knox. Abby is one of my best friends from high school. I can't believe we are both going to have little boys! Abby and Justin we are so excited for you all and can't wait to meet Knox in May!

Kelley, Emilee, Abby, and I were best friends in high school. I am so blessed that we are still such good friends years later!

18 Month Check-Up

We went on Tuesday for Payne's 18 month check-up. He is getting so big.

 

Height: 2 feet 8 inches-75%

Weight: 26 pounds- 50%

Head: 18.5 inches- 25%

Dr. L told everything was looking great. He also told us that he thought Payne would be almost 6 feet tall. That made his little momma laugh. Payne loves Dr. L. He always gives him tongue depressors to play with.

 After the doctor left he got about 3 or 4 shots. He was very unhappy about them, but was fine by the time we left. Today though his legs in very swollen and hard where the shot was given.
