Baby its cold.......

We laid low this weekend. My sister came over and kept Payne and I went Wal-Mart and Ryan played golf. The weather was beautiful on Saturday! Saturday afternoon I made some baby food.Over all it was really simple.
I would say the worst part was the big mess I made! I made carrots, peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, and apples.
Ryan and Payne hung out and took naps!
Payne is growing so big! He is so much fun to play with and I love to hear him laugh!

And...Now this is what I have to look forward to!! Ugh! I am going to be going to school until July with the way this winter is going!!!!

Hope you and your family stay warm this week!

They grow up fast!!!

I am so happy that we decided to invest the money into taking Payne's picture each month!! I always love how they turn out and it allows us to take pictures as a family as well. After he turns a year we plan on doing it every year, ok who am I kidding every half year. I can't decided. I am also a freak and we get a cd of all the pictures each month and they are all in the safety deposit box!

We are still here!

Wow, have we been busy.
I thought I would update you all on what we are doing.

We had two snow days last week! I enjoyed the break, but trying to get caught up this week was crazy! Ally was off on Thursday, so she came over and hung out all day.  She practiced her icing skills!
We let the dogs play outside for a little bit, so we could get a break from them.  Max really like it, until he got really cold and wanted back in.  Isn't he so cute???

Cross Church Fayetteville is going extremely well! We couldn't be happier with the opporunity God gave us.
I was asked last weekend to be the coordinator under our Preschool Director for the 10:55 service. This is has kept me busy all week, but I am loving it!! If you are wanting to help service please let us know!

Payne is still teething A LOT! He chews on everything!  Is sleeves are always soaking wet.  He pretty much has his passy with him at all times so he can chew on some part of it. Any suggestions on how to make this easier for him are welcome.!!! He started eating rice cereal with apple juice in it. He likes this a lot better. His favorite time of day is still bath time. He splashes the entire time he is in there. I can't wait for him to be able to sit up and actually play with some toys!

Ally, Heather, and I have also started running (ok, so maybe its jogging). I can't believe that we have actually kept up with our schedule! It is WAY more fun to run with your friends rather than by yourself! They also encourage me! Thanks girls!

I am going to be crazy busy the next few weeks with school. My co-teacher will be gone for the next week and half and then we both a have some random days off and then we are head to Colorado.  Therefore planning the next three weeks is going to be crazy with trying get everything done! On top of that we have grades that go home Friday and that means I have to write 34 of them!! Eekkk!

5 Months!

  • You wear a size 1-2 diaper
  • You weigh about 15 pounds
  • You eat 6 oz 5 times a day.
  • You are eating rice cereal at night.
  •  You sleep from 7pm to 7am most nights.  There have been those night where you wake up and come sleep with us.
  • You are wearing 3-6 months clothes.
  • You still like to suck your thumb rather than the passy!
  • You drool everywhere. My guess is teething.
  • You only cry when you have a dirty diaper, if you are hungry, or want someone to look at you!
  • You have started "talking" a lot more.
  • You have started to laugh.
  • You are rolling over.
  • You can almost sit up.
  •
  • You like your jump and play, but you let us know when you are done.
  • You started daycare on January 3. Your mommy cried when she left you!
  • You starting to be very active!
  • Day is also your 2nd snow.

What Payne has been doing..

Payne is growing and changing so much everyday.

Lucy is now inside because it is so cold outside. Payne likes to pet her and she likes for P to pet her.

Last Friday he rolled over for the first time. He has done it several times. I videoed it so I will upload it later.

He smiles real big when he does.
Saturday he sat up gorilla style by himself. He has been so happy lately even though we drag him everywhere with us.

We spent 7 hours at the church on Saturday helping getting ready for Sunday. P took a nap in the floor by the stage. He didn't seem to mind.
He has also learned to feed himself.  This is a very messy feeding, but so fun to watch how proud he is of himself when he gets the spoon in his mouth.

We spend at least 30 minutes every afternoon together playing in the floor.

CrossChurch Fayetteville

I can't believe this summer we began praying if we would make the move to the Fayetteville campus and today we helped open the new campus.
They ask for 200 core members to be  apart of the opening and we opened today just close to 300 core members including students and children.
The vision was to at least double our numbers on opening day. Which I thought was impossible!
Last Sunday we canvased the city and hung fliers on 20,000 houses.

One of my favorite questions of the day.
Someone ask me this morning, "When do you think you'll will out grow this building?" My answer was simple, "I hope today!"

Today we opened the doors and we were SHOCKED with how many people joined us!

The final count today was
1,513!!!

We had people, students, and children everywhere! It was so amazing!
We had set up an overflow room, which overflowed into the lobby and there were 170 people in the lobby at the 10:55 service!

Some other numbers of the day were 14 were saved, 7 baptized, and 27 joined the church.
God is good!!!

We are praying for each person in Fayetteville to know Christ.
Here are a few pictures from today.

Our family before we left his morning
Me, Ally, and Heather. We all worked with children this morning.
Adam and Dalton also helped with children.
Ryan and Jordan did an awesome job greeting this morning.
The 9:15 service about to start! Look at all those people!!!
Hudson and Payne in the nursery. Hud couldn't figure out how to get to Payne.
We got this coins today to help us remember this special day and the celebrate of officially changing our church name to CrossChurch.

We would love to have you join us on Sunday at 9:15 or 10:55!
