Well, this week so far as been super laid back. Ryan's aunt from Iowa, Gina, has been here this week keeping Payne. We can not tell you how thankful we are that our family is able to come and keep Payne. I am also fortunate enough that I get home around 4 o'clock each day and get to hang out with Payne. We are finally really on a schedule now. We get him up at 7 each morning and feed him. Then he eats every 4 hours during the day and his last feeding of the night is at 7 and then he goes to bed. He has been getting up 1-2 times a night, but the past few nights it has only been once, sometime between 4 and 5. I know people think I am crazy for putting him to bed so early, but honestly I get so much more done at night then I would in the morning. I also like to be able to spend time with him in the morning before I go to work. No, he doesn't fall asleep right away, it is crying for about 10 minutes, then he is out. I have loved spending the time with him in the afternoon. We talk and play all afternoon till he falls asleep about 530-6.
This is how to cook with a baby! A moby wrap!!!! I love this thing! I haven't really cooked much since Payne was born and when I did decide to cook, he screamed. So, the answer was the moby wrap. I could hold him and cook.

Sunday night we went to the Francis' to have our bi-monthly dinner with them. We love this time we get to spend with them. Ryan and Josh have been friends for a long time and now their children are getting to be friends. We just love this family and really enjoy getting to hang out with them.
Jillian and Payne hung out in their bouncy seats while we ate.
So we had some cake for dessert and the next few pictures are Brody making sure he got every last drop.
We took Payne to the doctor on Friday afternoon for a weight check and his two month shots. He weighed 10 lbs 11oz which was in between the 25-50 percentile and he was 22.64 inches long which was the 50 percentile. So we are now an average baby! He also did great during his shots. He only cried for about a minute and then I was able to hold him and he quit crying! Momma did good too, I didn't cry like I thought I would. He has been pretty fussy since he had the shots, but I think we are on the up swing now. He will be 2 months on Wednesday, so I will give the complete month update then. For now we are glad that he is growing and is healthy!
Our family waiting to see the doctor, yet celebrating his weight gain!
Lately, Payne has started to really look around and play with his play mat and in his bouncy seat. We videoed him the other night at dinner. It isn't that exciting for some, but I like watching him and I know his grandparents will too!
