Christmas Eve Traditions

Since we found out we were pregnant almost a year ago, Ryan and I have been talking about traditions we wanted to start in our family.  Tonight was one of those nights.  We just laid around the house all day and got things ready to for tomorrow and then we headed out for the Christmas Eve service at church.

Pastor read the Christmas story to all the kids.  I took Payne up and we listened to Pastor read.

After that we went down to the Fayetteville Square to look at the lights. It was really cold, but we enjoyed getting to spend time with Payne.

The square was beautiful and not very crowded, so it was a perfect night to go.

When we came home we opened our Christmas pj's from D. and Big R.

Payne even grabbed at the paper and helped me.

 Mommy's new pajamas
 Payne's new pajamas

 Daddy's new pajamas

Then we had a little photo shoot of the Santa Baby. He wasn't very happy by the end.

Then Ryan read  The Night Before Christmas to Payne.

Then we left Santa some milk and cookies and a note for Santa.

Payne loved his note to Santa.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight!

Merry Christmas to your family! Hope you have a great day!!
