Future Golfer??????

We took Payne to the golf course this past weekend to hang out while Ryan hit some range balls.  Payne had a lot of fun.

Payne played on his blanket for a while until he noticed his daddy was swinging golf clubs and Payne wanted to play with his daddy. 

 
Payne wanted his own golf club to play with. He did look pretty cute playing with it.  Yes, he already has his own set of golf clubs.

Happy 2 Year Anniversary to my wonderful husband!!

9 Months!

• You wear a size 3 diaper
• You weigh about 18.3 pounds 
• You have your two bottom teeth.
• You eat 4 oz at 7am, 10am, 4pm, and 7pm and 6oz at 1pm.
• You are eating rice cereal at night along with a veggie and a fruit.
• You are eating a fruit and either oatmeal or yogurt in the morning.

•  You sleep from 7pm to 7am most nights. 
• You are wearing 9-12 months clothes.
• We have started trying to give you a sippy cup every so often and you are doing great! 
• You must have someone in the room with you.
• You have started to scream a lot more.
• You are  "talking" all the time. 
• You have started to laugh.
• You can sit up.
• You are crawling everywhere.
• You are pulling up on things.
• You have started to pull up on me. You think it is great you can stand with out me helping.
• You can wave bye and say bye.
• You had pink eye, hives, and ear infections this month.
• You also had a fever one day, but didn't seem to  mind.
•  I can't believe that you are 9 months! We love you!  

OHH What a day!

So, yesterday Payne woke up with a swollen eye. A REALLY SWOLLEN EYE!( See below)

 

I was really worried it was related to the fall yesterday, but quickly decided it was mostly likely pink eye. So we decided to go to the walk in clinic at 7, but there was no doctor and they wouldn't be in until 9. So, I called a parent from school that is a doctor and she met me at school to look at the eye. She confirmed it was pink eye. Since we had already started drops she thought it was fine to send him to school. Off he went. With the hour they called me and said he had a rash. I brushed it off and said it was from the new food he tried last night and this morning, no big deal. Well, then they called again a few hours later and said it was worse and that he wasn't acting himself. So, Ally went to get him and I took off work at 12. When we got home he ate lunch and then we were going to take a bath and when I took off his clothes he had hives everywhere. 

 

I called both my friends that are doctors and they suggested taking him in so we did. By the time we had left the doctor we had confirmed cases of pink eye, hives due to a allergic reaction to plums, and an ear infection to top it off! 

 

We had to wait a long time at the doctor and it got pretty hard to contain the little man when he wants to crawl everywhere! 

Anyways, that was our day yesterday! We got the ok to go back to school today, so hopefully everything will be ok!

Busted Lip or Black Eye???

Tuesday I got a call from Payne's daycare around lunch saying that he had fallen and busted his lip.  They wanted me to come see and decided if I wanted to take him to the doctor.  By the time I had gotten the message and called back they said it wasn't as bad as they originally thought.  I wanted to go check it out for myself. When I got there, it wasn't that bad.  So, I rocked him to sleep and went back to work.  After school I went back to pick him up and he had a little black eye. 

 

Poor little man.  He is pretty tough though.  Hopefully his eye won't get any darker.

I can't even tell where he busted his lip, but they said it was pretty bloody.

Payne laughing at Sallie

Sallie came over yesterday and Payne just loved watching her play. He chased her all around. Sallie and I were throwing a ball and Payne laughed so hard about it.  My favorite part was when she left and came back, Payne gets super excited!

Splish Splash!

 I love to watch Payne play in the bath. He loves to splash and watch the water move all around him.

 His favorite toys in the bath are the cups and the starfish!

Wordless Wednesday

First Ice Cream

 After our 8 month pictures we went back in to have some ice cream before dinner!

 He had peach sorbet! Umm.. my favorite!

 Honestly, I think he would have been happy to chew in the spoon!

Mother's Day

 We had an awesome Mother's Day. This morning we had breakfast casserole and fruit. Then opened presents. Ryan and Payne got me a new ring that says, Jackson Payne on it. I love it! We dedicated Payne this morning at church. Our families came up to join us.

 We are into this shy thing. I am not sure! He has only seen Meredith a million times!

 He was very unhappy that I put him down. It took us a minute to regroup and realize we knew what we were doing!
