Quarter of Century!

A few weeks ago, I turned a quarter of a century.  I am not sure I like to say I am 25.  I feel old! My friends were awesome all week to me!

Thursday night girls night Heather and Ally came over and brought me the most delicious cookies.  They also got me a Vera Bradley bag full of nail polish!

Friday morning I got to enjoy a little extra time with Ryan and Payne. I opened my presents! Ryan got me the cutest camera strap. I love it! 

Friday night we all dropped our kids off at Friday Night Out and went o Mellow Mushroom for dinner. 

They brought me my favorite, an ice cream cake! I was so happy! I really enjoyed getting to hang out with friends and just relax!

 

 

Saturday Heather and Ally took me to eat at Firehouse and then jean shopping! If you know me well, taking me shopping is a big task! Clothes shopping is not my favorite! 

I ended up buying two pair of jeans and a pair of boots.  I thought I did really well! 

After that we went to get a medi and a pedi!

Then hit up a few more stores. Crafty stores. Those are my favorite!! Ally had never been to Oops. She thought the giant chair out front was cool!

7 Months!

• You wear a size 3 diaper
• You weigh about 18 pounds 
• Still no teeth.
• You eat 6 oz 5 times a day.
• You are eating rice cereal at night along with a veggie and a fruit.
• You have eaten sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, avocado, carrots, peaches, bananas, and apples.
•  You sleep from 7pm to 7am most nights.

• You are wearing 6-9 months clothes.
• You hold your own bottle. 
• You love the bottle, if you see you start to kick and scream for it.
  
• You only cry when you have a dirty diaper, if you are hungry, or want someone to look at you!
• You have started "talking" a lot more. 
• You have started to laugh.
• You are rolling over.  
• You can sit up.
• You are pushing up when on your belly.

• You have hated your jump and play the past few weeks.
• You are still loving daycare and so is your mommy.
• You had a fever for three days of a 101 or more. It was viral infection. Daddy stayed home with you.
• You also had a severe diaper rash and cried every time anyone some touched your bottom or sat you down.
• You starting to be very active!    
• 

6 Month Pictures

Loving It!

I am loving this age! Payne is so much fun now! He can sit up and play with me! 

 

He loves to play with anything he can pick up and put in his mouth. 

 

We are still working on sitting up, so we fall over sometimes.

 

Tonight we tried to roll the ball back and forth! This would make someone's daddy really happy!  

 

 

He even reaches for the ball! Maybe soon we will have this skill mastered!

Our Nightly Rountine

Our night is the same most nights and I wouldn't have it any other way! It is one of my favorite parts of the day.  Payne eats about 6:30. He eats a veggie and rice cereal mixed together.

 

He eats really good most days. He has learn to spit so sometimes I get it on me! 

 

Then we head to his favorite part of the day, bath time! He plays for a while. 

 Then we dry off and put our lotion on.

 After that he has his bottle while I read to him, then its off to bed about 7!

He wakes up at 7 the next morning a happy boy!

Sitting Up

Payne sat up on his own!

He has been sitting up for a few short seconds for quiet a while now, but yesterday we were playing outside in the beautiful weather and he sat up for a long time on his own! I can't wait to play with him everyday now! It is so fun being able to see his face when we play. 

6 Month Check Up

 We had Payne's 6 Month Appointment yesterday! I can't believe that he is 6 months!

I didn't know paper could be so much fun! He rolled all over the table and was so happy!!
