Colorado Day 3

Well, the crew headed out at 6 this morning to climb Quandary. They had everything packed and ready last night. I think they are all too tired to tell you about their adventure! I asked how it was and the answers I got were:

Beautiful
Hard
Windy
Rainy
Hot
Tiring
Amazing
Long

(Burying the time capsule)

While they hiked I got a pedicure and overlooked the mountains. Yesterday wore me out so I just took it easy today by sleeping in, hung out in the condo, and took a nap.

34 Weeks!

How my life's changing:

My favorite part of last week was definitely Thursday! The doctor was good and didn't gain any weight! Therefore I have only gained 13 pounds! Also, I loved our shower last week and getting to be with all our friends!
Other things that are going on: I am always thirsty! I can't get it to go away. I am always drinking something, therefore my bathroom breaks are about every 30 minutes! I did really good, so I thought, on the way to Colorado. We stopped about every hour or hour and half. I have had a running nose for about a week now which is just plain annoying! I am craving anything peach flavored. It doesn't matter what it is as long as it is peach! When eating I have to eat really slow or take breaks about every 5 minutes to let my food settle. Ryan tells me I am waddling places. I feel huge, so I guess what is what is causing it! I have noticed the shortness of breath starting to set in and Colorado doesn't make it any better. Sleep is still an issue. I am not sure what to do about it, but try my best to rest when I can. I can lay down for a nap and be yawning, but I can't go to sleep.

Payne's Development:
The doctor's appointment last Thursday went well. His heart beat was at 145bpm. We were talking about going to Colorado when she was measuring me, so I don't know if I was still measuring ahead or not.
He is still a pretty active little boy! He weighs about 4 pounds right now and is about 18 inches long. I can't believe that he is already that big.

Payne's Room:
Payne's room is quickly filling up with presents! We are planning on hanging the last of the things on the wall when we get back. We have just been so busy over the past 4 weeks.

Things to Look Forward to:

We have another appointment the Monday we get back. Then we will start weekly appointments! I can't believe that time is already here!
I will be head to Little Rock next weekend for a shower in Benton on Saturday, some family time, and another shower on Tuesday. I am so ready! I can't believe that he is almost here!

Colorado Day 2

The play last night was so good! It was incredibly funny! We laughed the whole time! Though when we got there they were asking for volunteers to be apart of the spelling bee. So we decided to sign Papa up. Then I decided I would sign up as well, even though I can't spell. Well, they only choose 4 people to be in the play and I was chosen. I went up on stage in the first 5 minutes of the play and was up there for half of Act 1. My character was kicked out of the spelling bee in the first round. I could hardly spell my word because they introduced me as a junior high student who was writing a book on "The pitfalls of going to a high school prom with a boy". Then the sentence for my word was something about a little boy playing with his dingy! Anyways, so I misspelled the word and they sang good-bye to me and gave me a juice box and kicked me off stage. I was glad to go back to my seat and not be on stage anymore. Here are some pictures before the play started.

Well, they decided after yesterday's bike ride and getting home late from the play that they needed a day of rest before they climbed the 14,000 foot mountain. So, instead of climbing we went to the fun park at the top of Peak 8. There was a climbing wall, super slid, putt-putt, a maze, and panning for gold. I wasn't able to do the climbing wall or super slid so I took pictures and panned for gold by myself!

Ryan and I on the putt putt course. We shot about the same thing. But Papa wouldn't tell us the end scores because he didn't want anyone mad at each other. (He won anyways)
Tracey, Ryan, and Rae-Marie on the climbing wall. Below Tracey was coming down and Ryan was going up and they were arguing about where to put their feet and hands.

Rae-Marie and Ryan coming down the slid. They had to ride another chair uplift higher up the mountain and then came down on the slid.
Ryan and I on the gondola on the way back down. It kept stopping and I was so hot!

It is so funny to me that all the slides and putt putt course is always under the snow when we re skiing in the winter. The slide was down one of our favorite runs and we didn't even know it was under there!
This afternoon we went shopping at the outlet mall. We bought a few things for ourselves, but Payne was the bigger winner of the day.
Tomorrow they are going to climb Quandry and I am planning on laying by the pool and getting a pedicure!

Colorado Day 1

W arrived last night about 5 and unpacked. We were all tired from driving so we had a lazy night and all turned in early.
This morning Papa and Tracey headed out early and went to ride their bikes on Swan Mountain. Ryan and Rae-Marie headed out about 10 to meet up with them and bike down Vail Pass and around Lake Dillon. They stopped in Copper Mountain for some lunch and then hit the trail again.
Ryan said they had a great time. They rode about 22 miles. He did complain his butt was a little sore afterward!
While they were out I laid around the condo and worked on some school things. Then I decided I wanted to go on a walk, so I did. I walked for about an hour. Here is some of the scenery from the town. I carried my new camera around and tested it out.
On my walk I found the cutest little store. I have found many ideas for Heather and I to create when I get home!

Tonight we are getting cleaned up, eating some dinner at the condo, and head to see a play at Backstage Theatre. The name of the show was "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee". I'll let you know how it goes!
Tomorrow the family is headed out at 6am to climb a 14,200ft. mountain! I just laugh when they talk about it!

We just got home a few days ago from Florida and now we are headed west to Colorado! We are so blessed at our parents take us on such fun trips! While we are out in Colorado the family plans on biking, hiking, whitewater rafting, visiting a fun park, and shopping. I will be laying by the pool, laying by the pool, going to the spa, and laying by the pool! I love this pool because it overlooks the beautiful mountains!

Here is a picture of one of adventures two years ago!

Look What We Got!

Well, we finally broke down and brought a new camera last night!

Its a Canon Rebel EOS XS! I am still watching videos on how to use it because Ryan told me I needed to use it to its full potential. It also came with an extra lens that is really long and a big fancy bag to carry it around in. I feel like a real photographer! Maybe I will be able to learn all about in Colorado. If you got any tips let me know!
I am super excited! Now I just need a little subject to photography all the time!

33 Weeks

How my life is changing:

Well, last week I said sleep was getting better. Well, I lied. I can't hardly sleep without taking a sleeping pill. I have also been extremely hot over the past few days. I can't seem to get cold or even cool. Also, over the last two days I have developed acid reflux. This is horrible. I feel bigger than ever and think I look huge as well. I can't get comfortable ever.

Payne's Development:

Payne is about the size of a pineapple and about 17 inches long. The book I am reading says he should be about 4 pounds now. I am going to ask the doctor on Thursday what she thinks. He is still moving around all the time. He likes to stick his hands and feet in my sides. This is not always the most comfortable thing ever.

Payne's Room:

Well, it is still the same the last few weeks. I still enjoy going in there and sitting and daydream about him.

Things to look forward too:

We have a doctor's appointment on Thursday and a couples shower!
I am super excited about both!
We are also headed to Colorado soon.
My daddy is building Payne a bassinet to sleep in in our room! I can't wait to see it!
Payne finally being here!!!!!

God is Great!

We had a little heat shower at our house this afternoon and afterward this is what we saw.
It just reminds me how great God is!

Can you see both rainbows!
