Swimming in the new pool!

Nelson (Ali and Bax's dog) came to visit last night and brought Lucy a little surprise! A new pool! Nelson is not to fond of it and just thinks it is a big water bowl and Lucy will mainly only get it in if your in it too. I think she got in it more today because it is a little muddy.

Nelson and Lucy's favorite game! Tug-a-war!

Stidham-Green-Lacy Win!

Leigh and I headed out to the golf course to watch the boys win it all!
We met them at the turn and drove the back nine with them! They played excellent!

Check out the top row! 1st!

Tim, Joe, and Ryan! They were so happy that they won. We went to Mojito's and Cold Stone to celebrate their win! Way to go boys!

What a week!

Well this past week has been so busy, yet so fun! Tuesday I got up and took little Miss A (one of the children I babysit) to pottery class. Then went to see Ryan at work and then came home and got ready to go to lunch with Ryan's mom who had come for a few days. Mrs. Debbie and I met Ryan and Ali at Penguin Ed's. I love some fried pickles so I was so happy to eat there! After lunch Mrs. Debbie and I headed to the pool. Later that night we hit another favorite restaurant of mine Mellow Mushroom. We enjoyed getting to see Mrs. Debbie and having some family time.

Wednesday was a normal day for Ryan, but I got to attend my first Professional Development as a real teacher and not an intern. It actually pretty fun. It was all about Earth Science and all hands on, which I am a big fan of! I learn lots of things to take back to the classroom. Wednesday night I went to Jose's to meet some friends that were interns with me at Holcomb. We had some good fellowship talking a little bit about everything! Ryan of course hit the golf course to practice for this tourney this weekend.

Thursday, well I got up and head over to Miss A's and Miss S's to babysit. Miss S head out with her dad and went to horseback riding camp and Miss A and I went to pottery class. I dropped her off and then came back home got ready and went back to pick her up. She chose to go to Wendy's for lunch. I love hanging out with her. I always laugh because she tells me the funniest things. Did I mention that she was in my first grade class when I was interning. This makes it so much better cause I know all her friends and she tells me what they all talked about all the time. I know who is boyfriend/girlfriend, who likes each other, and what kids think of each other! I love it! Then we went to tutoring and I got to see another first grader I had so we stayed and played with him for a while. After I dropped Miss A off, my sister came over and we watched one of out favorite shows, Gilmore Girls! This is when we found out that Michael Jackson had died. Then I went to dinner with Ali at Firehouse and we brainstormed wedding ideas. Ryan he played some more golf with T.J.

Friday, I head back to some more Professional Development. This time it was not so great but I managed to make it through it! Friday night we had plans to hang out with Tim and Leigh since we didn't get our weekly meal in with each other. We went to Noddle's and then over to the Wine Cellar. We saw lots of people we knew so I enjoyed seeing everyone! Here are a few pictures of the night!

Saturday the boys got up and went and played golf all freaking day! It might have been the longest golf tourney that Ryan has ever played in. I decided to go to the pool and lay out for a while. Finally about 4:30 Leigh and I decided we would go get pizza and movie for the boys and have it for them when they got home. So we just hung out and laid low for the night. Somehow we started talking about breakfast and came up with the idea that we should go to Denny's before the boys went back to play golf this morning. We meet at Denny's at 6:15 this morning. Tim hates that I carry my camera around everywhere, but one day he will thank me!

Here is all of us after we finished breakfast!

Well the boys head out about 7:30 up to Pea Ridge and Leigh and I head out about 10:45! I'll post picture of them when I get back!

One Month!

Today Ryan and I have been married ONE month!

It has gone by so fast. Since we have been married we have made many memories!

I just wanted to share ten reasons I love Ryan!

1. He takes care of me when I am sick!
2. He listens to country music now! He never did this before he met me! I love to walk into his office and he is listening to it at work!
3. He mows the yard at least once a week and helps around the house with chores.
4. He fits in with my family perfectly! It showed this weekend!
5. He always wants to cook dinner for me.
6. He is willing to help me with any random project I wanna do.
7. He gets up in the middle of the night to get me water.
8. He is super quite in the morning so I can sleep in while he gets ready for work.
9. No matter where we are going he always offers to drive. Even on our travels all over the state.
10. He always kisses me good morning and good night!

Here are a few pictures of our wedding day! I wish I could get married once a month! It was so fun! I can't wait to see the pictures from the photographers. Hopefully they will be coming soon.

About to go in and see Ryan for the first time. I was dancing all over the place so excited!Photos before the wedding

19 People and 6 Dogs! Family Reunion 2009!

The annual Family picture!
This year we are still growing at the Maulden Family Reunion! We added Ryan to the family officially this year and Lucy join the dogs. Also Rob's girlfriend came to join the fun on Saturday and we were so glad to have her! Once a year we all meet down at the Lake Catherine lake house in Jones Mill, Arkansas. We spend Friday afternoon getting everything unloaded and a few trips on the lake testing the waters. Friday night we had hamburgers and hot dogs provided by Uncle Ty and Sean. Saturday everyone gets up whenever and we play on the lake all day long. Lunch is provided by my Grandparents (G & G), it is always Corky's BBQ. So good, but I didn't not get to eat it because I was sick, so I ate saltine crackers. Blah! But who is surprised that Sarah was sick! Saturday afternoon we had a silly string war! Then a nice cruise on the boat and then an early dinner of leftovers. Sunday morning is always the big breakfast that the young adults cook up! It is also a challenge cooking about 3lbs. of bacon, 32 biscuits, 24 eggs, about 75 pigs in a blanket and the famous Maulden family chocolate gravy. Then Ryan and I packed up and headed back to Benton to eat Father's Day lunch with Ryan's dad and then on to Little Rock to see my mom. A long but fun family weekend!
Every year I make a scrapbook of the family reunion so I tend to have a million pictures of everything so bare with me as I share them.

POOR Ty! Uncle Ty had a bad start to his weekend. He bought a ski boat early last week and went to pick it up in Benton Friday morning. When he was picking it up Jenny ( a dog) was in the car and somehow manage to lock the car when it was still running. So Ty spent about an hour trying to figure out what to do about this since he couldn't get keys for about another 3 hours. But don't worry cause when he was talking to the dealership trying to get them to make him a key Jenny rolled down the window. Then he was able to get in the car. He gets all loaded and starts towards the lake when he looks in the side mirrors and noticed the snap down carpet in the boat wasn't snapped down and was flying all over the interstate. So he pulled over and get it back. It doesn't end there. He gets to the lake and gets the boat in the water and pulls up to the house and decides to look at the motor and well it is taking on water at an alarming rate. There was no plug in the boat. So Ty had to jump in the water and put the plug in the boat. Alright all is good with the boat so we thought and Ty goes to pick up the four wheeler. That night Ty took some of the fam out for a trip and on the way back in and the motor died. No more boat. Saturday during lunch the boat guy came out to try to fix it but no go. The boat was towed out of the lake :(!!!!!!!

Thomas was old enough this year to drive the four-wheeler! He loved it!

Tracey, Lauren, Neil (no picture), Ryan, and Ty all jumped off the top of the other boat. I stayed in the boat with Lucy who whined the whole time cause she wasn't swimming.

Lake Bound!

We are headed to the lake this morning. We drove down to Little Rock last night to pick up the jet ski then on to Benton to stay the night with Ryan's parents. We had some good fellowship then hit the sack! We got up this morning ready to go to the lake with the entire Maulden family. Every year we head to the lake house to have a weekend filled family fun! I'll share some pictures when we get back on Sunday. There is no cable, no internet, and barely any cell phone service. A nice quite, wild weekend just with family!! See ya Sunday! Have a great weekend!

Last night we ate with Tim and Leigh. Leigh made a fabulous tenderloin, green beans, sponge bob mac and cheese, and a salad. For dessert we got to go the snowcone shack!!! I loved it! We enjoy our weekly dinners with Tim and Leigh!!! Maybe next week we can go putt-putt!

I love snowcones! In case you couldn't already tell from my face!

The boys were not to into the picture taking and they told me I wouldn't put it up here but I did!
